Having an Impact

We want our life to have an impact. God wants our life to have an impact. Jonathan, King Saul’s Son, made three choices and God used his life to create a powerful, ripple effect which impacted an entire nation.

Read the story in 1 Samuel 14.

Choice #1: Step out of your comfort zone.

  • God does tremendous things when we get out of our comfort zone.

Choice #2: Depend on God

  • Our attitude should be, “God, this will fail without you.”

Choice #3: Join God work.

  • God is currently working in people lives. He is convicting people and growing believers. We have an opportunity to join God in this awesome work by spending time with people, teaching, praying, witnessing, etc.

Within 24 hours of Jonathan making these three choices, God delivered Israel from the Philistines and thousands of people were motivated to join the battle.

Make these three choices for one week and see what happens.
