• God has a part and we have a part (Phil 2:13-14)

 

God’s Part: Work in us, grow us, and change us into who He wants us to be (Phil 1:6; 2:13; 1 Cor 3:7).

God’s Tools:

• Tool #1: The Holy Spirit (Eph 1:13-14; John 16) [The Holy Spirit is God and indwells the believer]
• Tool #2: The Word of God (1 Thes 2:13; Heb 4:12)
• Tool #3: Everyday Life (James 1:2-5; Romans 8:28-29)
• Tool #4: Fellowship with other Believers (Heb 10:24-25)

 

Our Part: Respond to God (Phil 2:12; Romans 12:1-2)

• Listen (Word of God, People, Conviction)
• Obey
• Talk with God
• Allow God to use His tools in our life
