Observation #1: The Goal of Spiritual Growth is Maturity (Col 1:28-29; 1:9-12).

• Filled with the knowledge of His will.

• Living a life pleasing to God

• Reaching out.

• Increasing in the knowledge of God

• Strengthened with God’s power.

Observation #2: Spiritual Growth is a process and takes time (Phil 3:12-15)

Observation #3: Spiritual growth is normal for the Christian and God expects it (Hebrews 5:11-14).

Observation #4: God is working in us to change and grow us (Phil 1:6; Phil 2:13).

Observation #5: Let God work in us.

God uses:

• The Holy Spirit (Eph 1:13-14; John 16)

• The Word of God (1 Thes 2:13; 1 Peter 2:1-3)

• Everyday life (James 1:2-5)

• People (Hebrews 10:24-25; 1 Cor 3:6)
