God’s Role for the husband (Eph 5:21-33)
Role #1: Step up to the Plate out of Reverence for Christ (Eph 5:21).
Role #2: Step up to the Plate and be the Leader (Eph 5:23).
Take the responsibility and lovingly lead the marriage, family, and church to fulfill God’s plans.

=> In the Family (Eph 6:4; 1 Tim 3:4-5)
=> In the Church (1 Tim 3; 1 Tim 2:8-15)
What does not work in motivating the husband:
- Nagging (Proverbs 27:15)
- Disrespect (1 Peter 3:1-3)
How the wife can motivate her husband
- Praise and appreciation (Proverbs 27:17)
- Respectful attitudes and conduct (1 Peter 3:1-3)
