Also discover a excellent way for helping people understand God’s word. After witnessing to an individual for 20 minutes and getting nowhere. I turned to John 3:16, gave the Bible to him, and used this method that Christ used. I could see the light bulbs go on as this individual finally understood.

God’s Part and Our Part in Helping Others Grow
1 Corinthians 3:4-9
Principle #1: God is working in individuals to grow, change, and mature them (Phil 1:6; Phil 2:13).
 God uses:
– The Holy Spirit (Eph 1:13-14; John 16)
– The Word of God (1 Thes 2:13; 1 Peter 2:1-3)
– Everyday life (James 1:2-5; Romans 8:28)
– People (Hebrews 3:13; 10:24-25; 1 Cor 3:6)
